Hamirpur, Jan. 20 -- Over 15 percent of workers found ineligible during physical verification, said Nardev Singh Kanwar, the chairman of the HP Building and other construction workers welfare board at evening.
He said that the process of physical verification and e-KYC of approximately 4.76 lakh registered workers is underway to weed out ineligible individuals and ensure that eligible workers benefit from the Board's various welfare schemes.
Speaking to reporters after a quarterly review meeting with labor welfare officers from all districts at the Board's headquarters on Monday, Nardev Singh Kanwar said that so far, physical verification has been conducted for approximately 19,480 workers across the state, of whom 2975 were found ineligi...
