Hyderabad, May 19 -- Telangana Revenue, Housing, Information, and Civil Relations Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy has announced that the state government, under the leadership of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, is taking firm steps to provide a permanent solution to land disputes through the creation of accurate and updated land records.
As part of this initiative, the government invited applications for the appointment of 5,000 licensed surveyors to support the implementation of the Land India Act, which mandates the submission of land survey maps for property registration. The response has been overwhelming, with 10,031 applications received by the deadline on May 17.
