Lucknow, May 21 -- The Uttar Pradesh government has ensured free admission of 1,26,293 underprivileged children in private schools under the Right to Education (RTE) Act following the principle of 'Education is the right of all', official sources said here on Wednesday.
Sources said that this accounts for 68 percent of the total 1,85,675 allocated seats, reflecting effective implementation of the scheme and strong groundwork.
This initiative is not just about education but also about opportunity, self-reliance and laying the foundation for a brighter future for UP, officials said.
