Jaipur, June 2 -- Rajasthan's Minister for Animal Husbandry, Gopalan, and Devasthan, Joraram Kumawat, announced on Monday that the state government will vaccinate over 1.11 crore cattle against Lumpy Skin Disease (LSD).
The vaccination drive aims to protect the cattle from this deadly disease, which had previously caused significant losses to livestock owners.
The state-level vaccination campaign was launched at the Pinjrapole Gaushala in Sanganer. Minister Kumawat emphasised that the government is committed to the welfare of animals and is taking proactive measures to control the spread of LSD.
