Hyderabad, July 2 -- Over 1,800 election officials participated in an online training session conducted under the directions of Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) C. Sudharshan Reddy here today.
The training is a part of the Election Commission of India's National Training Program aimed at strengthening the capacity of Booth Level Officers (BLOs) and related staff.
In his inaugural address, Sudharshan Reddy emphasised that these training programmes are essential to ensure elections are conducted strictly in accordance with the Representation of the People Act, 1950, the Registration of Electors Rules, 1960, the Conduct of Election Rules, 1961, and the instructions issued by the Election Commission from time to time.
