Mumbai, Jan. 25 -- More than 1,500 students and children took part in a grand marathon here on Sunday as part of the build-up to Mumbai Climate Week, a citizen-led climate movement aimed at promoting environmental awareness and responsible action.
The marathon with large participation from suburban Malad West, was organised by Project Mumbai in collaboration with UNICEF, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation, and St. Anthony's High School. Students, parents, teachers and volunteers participated in the run, which sought to encourage community-driven engagement on climate responsibility and sustainable living.
