Kolhapur, Dec. 6 -- The "Shaurya Jagriti Training" camp to give self-defence training for over 1000 girls will be held on December 7 at Padmaraje Girls High School near Khari Cornor of the city.
Organised by Hindi Janjagruti Samiti(HJS), Sabyasachi Gurukulam and Bhagirithi Mahila Sanstha.
In a press release, Sunil Ghanavat, HJS state co-ordinator for Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh, said the camp would be organised for the girls, who have to face growing insecurity, criminal tendencies, street harassment, goon-related violence, and cyber abuse.
