Mumbai, Aug. 1 -- Widespread condemnation has followed the viral circulation of a video depicting a passenger being physically assaulted aboard an IndiGo flight from Mumbai to Kolkata today.
The footage, shared extensively on social media platform X, shows a man in a white shirt slapping a fellow traveller who was reportedly experiencing a panic attack mid-flight today.
The video captures the victim, identifiable by a skull cap, being attended to by cabin crew members prior to the assault. Following the slap, the alleged perpetrator is confronted by other passengers and crew.
When challenged, he justified his actions in Hindi, stating, "uski wajah se pareshan ho rahe hain hum log" (we are suffering because of him).
