Jerusalem, Sept. 29 -- Outgoing Israeli military commander, Maj. Gen. Nimrod Aloni, delivered a scathing critique of the military's leadership as he stepped down on Sunday, slamming the IDF of failing to take responsibility for its lapses before and after the Hamas-led October 7, 2023 massacre, as per Times of Israel.

"I am leaving an army in which the concept of responsibility has been trampled and desecrated, and which has lost the confidence to put its failures on the table," Aloni said at the handover ceremony for the Depth Corps, which he had commanded in years prior to the war.
