Bengaluru, Oct. 28 -- Leader of the Opposition in the Karnataka Legislative Council Chalavadi Narayanaswamy today launched a severe attack on the state government, alleging that Chief Minister Siddaramaiah heads the "most corrupt" administration he has witnessed in his political career spanning several decades.

Speaking to the media here, Narayanaswamy said he has seen "seven to eight Chief Ministers," but never one as embroiled in corruption as the incumbent. "They are always engaged in loot," he alleged, asserting that the government's focus is not on public welfare but on exploiting the state exchequer.
