Puducherry, March 30 -- Residents of the Kalapet Tsunami Colony here have threatened to cast their votes for NOTA in the April 9 Assembly elections in the union Territory.
As many as 400 families are residing in the Tsunami Colony and there were complaints of lack of protected drinking water and uninterrupted power supply for long.
Posters were put up in some of the houses stating that they will not vote for the political parties which have failed to hold the civic polls here.
According to the People Welfare Association functionaires Kumar, Anandan, Prakash and Sekhar, street lights in their colony are not working for the past ten years due to an underground cable fault. Even though it was requested to set right it, nothing happened.
