Shimla, Dec. 25 -- The Meteorological Centre, Shimla, has issued an orange alert for dense to very dense fog in the plains and adjoining low hill districts of Himachal Pradesh for the next four days, warning of reduced visibility during late-night, early-morning, and morning hours.

The advisory comes amid prevailing dry weather conditions across the state and a gradual drop in minimum temperatures in low-lying areas.

According to the latest weather bulletin, Himachal Pradesh remained dry during the past 24 hours, with no significant rainfall or snowfall reported anywhere in the state.
