New Delhi, Sept. 5 -- Silicon Valley is expected to witness another wave of job cuts, with Oracle and Salesforce launching fresh rounds of layoffs as artificial intelligence reshapes the future of work.

Oracle has already fired over 3,000 employees since August, with cuts spreading across the US, India, the Philippines, Canada, and parts of Europe.

Teams in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle Health (formerly known as Cerner), Oracle Advanced Customer Services (ACS), and NetSuite Global Business Unit (NSGBU) have been among the hardest hit as the company pivots toward cloud and AI-led growth.
