Jammu, Jan. 16 -- Directing that sporting and recreational activities be evenly distributed across all districts to ensure equal opportunities for aspiring youth, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo today advised the Department of Youth Services and Sports to optimally leverage funds available under SASCI, Ministry of Sports schemes and Capex allocations to upgrade sports infrastructure to modern standards.
He emphasised that both infrastructure and events must meet high-quality benchmarks to nurture elite sportspersons.
