Vijayawada, Sept. 11 -- The Opposition YSR Congress party in Andhra Pradesh today voiced concern over reports of 50 deaths from suspected Melioidosis at Turakapalem village and the fresh outbreak of diarrhoea at RR Pet here.
YSRCP NTR District Doctors Wing Chairman, Dr. Ambati Naga Radhakrishna Yadav, in a statement said that the suspected melioidosis outbreak has already claimed nearly 50 lives at Turakapalem village of Guntur district. Moreover, the fresh outbreak of diarrhoea at RR Pet Vijayawada is causing concern as the public health is at risk.
