Patna, Dec. 2 -- RJD leader Tejaswi Prasad Yadav on Tuesday said that the opposition''s role is to closely monitor the government, and if the NDA government deviates from public interest or makes any mistake, the opposition will firmly hold it accountable.
Reiterating his commitment to make Bihar free from unemployment, migration and poverty, Yadav said here that the opposition will extend positive support to the government on all matters related to the development of the state.
However, he categorically cleared that any disregard for people's rights will not be tolerated.
Yadav added that the Mahagathbandhan will act as a responsible and strong opposition.
