Mumbai, July 30 -- : The opposition today intensified its demand for the resignation of Agriculture Minister Maanikrao Kokate, who was allegedly seen playing an online game in the Maharashtra Assembly.

Despite indications that Kokate might be reassigned to the Relief and Rehabilitation Department as a form of "rehabilitation," the Sharad Pawar-led faction of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) has stated unequivocally that they will not cease their protest until his resignation.
