Shimla, Aug. 26 -- The Opposition BJP today accused the Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu-led government of shielding corrupt officers by delaying disclosure of details related to the list of "officers of doubtful integrity" (ODI).
Raising the issue in the Assembly, BJP legislator Satpal Singh Satti charged the government with "deliberately hiding" information already submitted before the High Court. He questioned why the treasury benches were reluctant to share the same with legislators.
The matter came up under Question No. 2319, when MLA Randhir Sharma, on behalf of Satti, sought a department-wise list of officials included in the ODI list who had been given service extensions or reappointments, along with reasons for such decisions.
