Patna, April 18 -- Bihar BJP President Sanjay Saraogi launched a sharp attack on the opposition after the Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam could not be passed in the Lok Sabha, terming it an attempt to deny women their rightful place in decision-making.

Saraogi said here on Friday, that the opposition's stand was not merely against a bill but against the rights, dignity and future of half of the country's population. He alleged that this is a clear conspiracy to keep women away from the policy-making process, which the country will never accept.
