Agartala, March 6 -- The student bodies and opposition parties demanded an inquiry against Tripura (Central) University Vice Chancellor Prof Ganga Prasad Prasain and Registrar Dipak Sharma for their alleged involvement in a job scam in the university after an employee was arrested by the police.
Before the police came, the victim candidates had beaten the multitasking staff, Sukanta Chowdhury, who admitted that he had taken a bribe in consultation with the authorities for offering a job to a few candidates. But finally, he couldn't manage the posts for all of them as VC and Registrar brought their candidates for engagement, which led to a chaos among themselves.
