Nagpur, Nov. 15 -- Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis today dismissed criticism directed at the NDA following its landslide victory in Bihar, stating that the Opposition must accept the verdict and introspect.
His remarks came after NCP (SP) president Sharad Pawar questioned how the Election Commission allowed the distribution of funds during the Bihar poll process. Pawar was referring to the Mukhyamantri Mahila Rojgar Yojana, under which money is provided to a woman in each family to start a business. He expressed concern that such a "Bihar template" could influence future elections.
