Kochi, March 30 -- Opposition leader in Kerala Assembly V.D. Satheesan on Monday threw an open challenge to Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, demanding a clear response on allegations that the CPI(M) is receiving support from the Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI).
Satheesan alleged that a political understanding exists between the CPI(M) and SDPI in Kerala and said the Chief Minister must state unequivocally whether his party is accepting such backing in the ongoing Assembly election.
