Mumbai, Dec. 19 -- An alliance between the Sharad Pawar faction of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), the Shiv Sena (Thackeray faction), and the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) is likely for the upcoming Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections, sources said on Friday.
While the NCP (Sharad Pawar faction) has limited strength in Mumbai, a combined front with both Thackeray brothers could pose a significant challenge to the state's ruling Mahayuti.
