New Delhi, May 22 -- Even as Congress has called the poll panel decision to reject the demand for VVPAT checking as 'Black Day' for democracy, BJP president Amit Shah said on Wednesday that the opposition parties are posing a question mark on the democratic process and maintained that opposing EVM is total disrespect to people's mandate.

''Opposing EVM is total disrespect to people's mandate. Rattled by their defeat, these 22 parties, by raising a question mark on the democratic process in the country and tarnishing the image of the nation,'' said Mr Shah in a series of tweets.

He said he wanted to ask some questions to the opposition parties.
