Imphal, Oct. 4 -- In a series of counter-insurgency operations carried out across Manipur, Manipur Police and Security Forces apprehended several active cadres belonging to different proscribed outfits and rescued a civilian who had strayed into an unsafe area.
Security Forces launched an operation yesterday in Songkot village under Henglep Sub-Division, Churachandpur district, leading to the arrest of five active cadres of UKNA, including a juvenile.
The arrested individuals were identified as Paolenlal Kipgen of Boljol village, Kamgoulen of K. Phaijang village, Lhunkholen Singson of Bolkot village, and Khaiginpau of S. Bualkot village.
