Imphal, Dec. 19 -- Security Forces intensified searches around Churachandpur district from where coordinated attacks were launched by Kuki militants on internally displaced persons.
So far no arrests have been made after Kuki armed militants launched attack on a village in Bishnupur district using bombs. An FIR has been filed so far by Manipur Police.
Security Forces on Thursday recovered sixteen abandoned ANFO (paste type) IED at Lungdeiphai Leinom village junction, Kangvai area under Churachandpur-PS, Churachandpur district. The IEDs have since been neutralized by bomb disposal squad.
