Parwinder SandhuNew Delhi, Dec. 23 -- The year 2025 is set to be remembered as a defining chapter in India's fight against terrorism, marked by the launch of Operation Sindoor, a sustained campaign targeting terror networks and their sponsors.
The operation dubbed as the 'New Normal' followed a deadly attack on April 22, when Pakistan-based terrorist outfit The Resistance Front (TRF), an offshoot of the Lashkar-e-Taiba, carried out a brutal assault in Pahalgam, killing 25 tourists and one Kashmiri pony ride operator.
In response, on the intervening night of 6-7 May, Indian defence forces executed Operation Sindoor. The response was non-escalatory, precise and targeted terrorist training camps of Hizb-ul-Mujahidin (HM, Jaish-e-Mohammed (Je...
