New Delhi, June 24 -- Amid the Middle East conflict, Operation Sindhu saw more Indians evacuated from Iran and Israel arriving in New Delhi, along with some Sri Lankan and Nepalese nationals. So far, 2,576 Indians have been evacuated from Iran, while 594 Indians have been brought back from Israel.

The MEA spokesperson gave information in posts on X:

On the latest evacuation from Iran, he posted that Minister of State for External Affairs Pabitra Margherita received the latest batch of 281 Indians, three Sri Lankan nationals and two Nepalese, evacuated from Iran, in New Delhi. They arrived on board a flight from Mashhad on Tuesday afternoon.
