Thiruvananthapuram, July 26 -- As part of 'Operation D-Hunt', a special raid to curb drug-peddling, a total of 88 individuals were arrested and 81 cases were registered following a state-wide raids conducted on July 25 in Kerala.
During the special drive, 1,583 individuals, suspected of involvement in the sale of narcotic drugs were subjected to checks. A total of 81 cases were registered for possession of various banned narcotic substances. 88 persons were arrested in
connection with these cases.
The police seized significant quantities of prohibited substances from the arrested individuals, including 0.17771 kgs of MDMA, 11.8506 kg of ganja, and 54 ganja cigarettes.
