Bengaluru, Nov. 27 -- Amid ongoing speculation over a potential leadership change in Karnataka, Home Minister Dr G Parameshwara today said he would accept any decision taken by the Congress high command, including the possible appointment of Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar as Chief Minister.
Speaking to reporters here, Parameshwara emphasised that he would support a smooth transition if the high command favoured Shivakumar and underlined that all party leaders must abide by the final decision. Political analysts noted that while his remarks appeared to indicate a shift from the Siddaramaiah camp, they were largely seen as part of internal party strategy.
