Dimapur, Jan. 6 -- Open recruitment for 144 posts of constables in Nagaland police allotted for Dimapur, Chumoukedima and Niuland districts will be carried out from January 7 to 13.
Briefing the media at Chumoukedima police complex on Tuesday here, Dimapur commissioner of police Aotula T Imchen said the entire exercise would be conducted in a transparent, fair and merit-based manner.
Imchen said a total of 3,377 applications were received for the posts.
She said a six-member screening committee had been constituted to oversee the process and ensure fairness at every stage.
