Jammu, May 27 -- Inspector General Border Security Force, Jammu Frontier, Shashank Anand on Tuesday said that the force is proud of its women troops, who equally shouldered responsibilities and remained on the front-foot during 'Operation Sindoor' and gave a befitting response to the enemy along the International Border.
"We successfully carried out the 'Operation Sindoor' and in this entire episode, the women troops of BSF enthusiastically participated," IG Anand told media at his maiden press conference here at the Frontier Headquarters.
