Kakinada, July 11 -- ONGC Eastern Offshore Asset has organised a five km walk with 1000 students under Swachh Pakhwada walkathon from ASD government college here on Thursday aimed at creating awareness among the people on the Swacch Bharat mission .
City Mayor Sunkara Pavani has flagged off the walkathon in which Mr Arvind Morbale, Executive Director and Asset Manager of ONGC and other senior officials participated.
The Mayor has lauded the efforts of the ONGC in carrying out cleanliness drive in beaches and its operational areas as part of the drive to make Kakinada smart city clean and green involving the local public including students of schools and colleges.
