Chennai, March 20 -- One of the four astronauts undergoing rigorous training for the maiden
human flight mission "Gaganyaan" Group Captain Shukla, has been selected to join the mission
to the International Space Station (ISS), according to Union Minister for Science and Technology
Dr Jitendra Singh.
He said the other three Astronauts remain in an intensive preparatory phase to ensure mission
success.
A PIB release quoting the Minister's reply in Lok Sabha said India's space ambitions are set to
reach new heights.
On India's first human spaceflight mission, Gaganyaan, he confirmed that the selected four
