New Delhi, June 13 -- The implementation of One Nation, One Election will not only strengthen Indian democracy but also open new avenues for the country's development and prosperity, former Union Minister and ex Governor Kalraj Mishra said here on Friday.
Describing the concept as crucial for India's democratic future, Mishra emphasised that the idea transcends political affiliations.
"This is not about any one political party, but about the greater good of the nation. Simultaneous elections across the country would streamline policy planning and implementation while significantly reducing manpower strain and economic expenditure," he explained here at an event organised by the Radheshyam Charitable Foundation.
