New Delhi, Aug. 22 -- Delhi Police have detained a friend of Rajeshbhai, the main accused from Gujarat's Rajkot, in the Delhi CM attack case.
Police said the suspect was being brought to Delhi for further interrogation. "We have detained him. He is a friend of Rajeshbhai who attacked Delhi CM Rekha Gupta. He transferred money into the account of Rajeshbhai," said a source.
The Delhi Police has got five days of custodial remand of the accused, who is currently being interrogated by senior police officers.
Police are verifying his statements and probing the larger conspiracy.
"We have to unearth the entire conspiracy. We are trying to ascertain who are with him in the attack," the source added.
