NASHIK-ROAD-ACCIDENT
Nashik, April 17 -- A two-wheeler rider was killed instantly and his pillion was injured when a vehicle hit the two-wheeler on Wednesday night near the Sukhad drain on Taharabad-Satana road in Satana taluka of the district.
The police said the deceased was identified as Yashwant alias Nana Bharat Thakur (27), a resident Virgaonn. On Wednesday night, Thakur and his friend were going towards Satana when an unknown vehicle hit them at night.
Nana Thakur suffered severe injuries to his head and face and was shifted to the Satana Rural Hospital.
The doctors declared Thakur dead while his partner Bharat Suma Nikam was seriously injured and was admitted to a Satana rural hospital. He was later shifted to Malegaon.
