Rampur, Sept. 9 -- One labor was killed, while five others received critical burn injuries after they came in contact with a high-tension line.
The accident occurred today in the Bilaspur area of Rampur district during preparations for a religious procession in the Naveen Mandi area. Workers were erecting a large iron gate to welcome the Nagar Kirtan procession in honour of Guru Tegh Bahadur when the gate suddenly came in contact with an 11,000 volt high-tension power line.
