Hazaribag, Feb. 13 -- A 24-year-old youth was killed and another seriously injured in a tragic road accident near Saraswati High School under Daru police station limits on Friday.
The deceased has been identified as Dilip Kumar (24), son of Kartik Saw and a resident of Peto village in Daru. The injured youth, Vivek Kumar, son of Dinesh Mahto and a resident of Holang in Tatijharia, is undergoing treatment.
According to eyewitnesses, Vivek had come to the school to drop a matriculation examinee for the board examination. After sending the student inside the school gate, he was standing near his motorcycle when a speeding bike coming from the Daru side lost control and rammed into him.
