Amethi, Dec. 8 -- A fatal road accident occurred near the Bani Railway Station on the Rae Bareli Road under the Gauriganj Kotwali area of Amethi, where a government police jeep and a motorcycle collided head-on. The crash resulted in the death of one young man and left two others critically injured, police said on Monday.
According to police, the incident took place when Gauriganj Mahila Thana in-charge Inspector Kanchan Singh was travelling towards Jais in her official jeep on Monday. At the same time, a motorcycle coming from the opposite direction toward Gauriganj collided with the vehicle.
