Chandigarh, Sept. 18 -- union Minister Jitin Prasada today paid obeisance at Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib and offered prayers for peace and prosperity in Punjab.
During his visit to the state, the minister reviewed the situation in flood-affected areas, saying that heavy rainfall has caused widespread damage to crops, property, and livelihoods. He assured that the central government is closely monitoring the situation and will extend all possible assistance to those affected.
Marking the occasion of Modi's birthday, Prasada also offered prayers for his long life and good health. He added that under the Prime Minister's leadership, the country is progressing rapidly, and Punjab continues to play a vital role in national growth.
