Patna, March 22 -- CPI(ML) General Secretary Dipankar Bhattacharya on Sunday said Bihar Diwas 2026 is being observed at a time when the country and society are facing deep challenges and uncertainty.

In his message, Bhattacharya said the impact of the ongoing US-Israel war against Iran is increasingly being felt in India. He noted that millions of overseas Indians, including a large number from Bihar, are stranded in the war-affected West Asia.

He said rising LPG prices and inflation are placing a heavy burden on common people, while farmers are facing difficulties due to setbacks in trade.
