Bhubaneswar, Aug. 12 -- The Odisha Maritime Board (OMB) will adopt innovative financing models and forge global collaborations to strengthen Odisha's position as a leading maritime hub in Eastern India.

The OMB is pursuing an ambitious roadmap to become a key driver of the State's Blue Economy and overall maritime growth.

Principal Secretary of the Commerce & Transport Department, Usha Padhee, on Monday reviewed the Board's strategic plans to modernise and expand port infrastructure, enhance maritime connectivity, promote coastal shipping, and boost economic activities along Odisha's 480 km coastline.
