Srinagar, May 20 -- Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Tuesday visited the Mata Kheer Bhawani temple in Ganderbal district to review the preparations for the upcoming Kheer Bhawani Mela, scheduled to be held on June 3.

The upcoming Kheer Bhawani Mela, will be the first major religious gathering in Jammu and Kashmir after the last month terror attack in Pahalgam that led to killing of 25 tourists and a local. Days later India launched "Operation Sindoor" targeting 9 major terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir.
