Lucknow, April 28 -- The Uttar Pradesh government has decided to take strict action against officers and employees neglecting letters from MPs, MLAs and public representatives to ensure the immediate resolution of public issues, official sources said here on Monday.
Sources said that following the order of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the Parliamentary Affairs Department has issued a directive to all key officials, including Principal Secretaries, DGPs, Divisional Commissioners and District Magistrates.
