Balasore, July 18 -- In a deeply distressing incident, a daily wage earner was forced to carry his daughter's body in a trolley rickshaw to the hospital for post-mortem, due to the lack of financial resources and official support.
Madhu Bindhani, a resident of Bindhani Sahi in Deula Gram Panchayat under the Baliapal police station limits, transported his daughter's body in a trolley for nearly 6 km from his house to the Community Health Centre (CHC) for autopsy.
According to Bindhani, his daughter had a history of psychiatric issues. Her body was found hanging from a tree in the village.
