Kendrapara, Oct. 11 -- Forest officials of Bhitarkanika National Park today rescued a seven-foot-long estuarine (saltwater) crocodile from a village pond at Dattapur under Suniti Gram Panchayat in the Mahakalapada Forest Range.
According to officials, the crocodile had strayed into the pond from the nearby Gobari river.
