Puri (Odisha), March 22 -- Puri police have busted an inter-district car theft racket, arrested four youths, and recovered the stolen car from their possession.

According to the town police, on March 4, Ranjan Kumar Ghosh from Hugli, West Bengal, traveled to Puri by road in a car.

He parked the vehicle near Sarada Lodge at night, but the next morning, he discovered that it was missing. Ghosh immediately lodged a complaint at the Town Police Station.

Police examined CCTV footage, tracked the movement of the stolen vehicle, and found the car in Firingia village of Kandhamal district. The police seized the car and detained a person who had purchased the stolen property.
