Bhubaneswar, April 21 -- The police on Monday recovered the mutilated and decomposed body of 11-year-old Arshibad Sahu, who had been missing for the past week, from a septic tank near his house.
One youth has been detained in connection with the gruesome murder.
The body of Arshibad, a resident of Ratanpur village under Delang police station in Puri district, was found inside a septic tank near his house. Police have detained Prabhakar Sahu, the boy's uncle, as the prime suspect in the murder.
According to police, preliminary investigations suggest that Prabhakar was directly involved in the child's murder.
