Bhubaneswar, April 26 -- Additional District Judge of Jharsuguda court, Subash Chandra Dhal, has awarded life imprisonment to five accused involved in the murder of a woman who was suspected of being affected by black magic.

Along with life imprisonment, the judge also imposed a fine of Rs. 10,000 on each of them, stating that in default of payment, they would have to undergo an additional six months of imprisonment each.

The convicted persons have been identified as Santoshini Jayapuria, Soudamini Jayapuria, Sahadev Jayapuria, Naveen Bhoi, and Akshay Jayapuria.
